They impacted their generation
The photo above looks like the starting line for a businessman’s marathon. Well, it is sort of. It's from 1923 and it’s of 52,121 Christian businessmen who gathered and impacted their KC workplaces for Christ (the largest gathering of its kind in the history of the United States).
Let's impact our generation
It got several of us wondering, who in today's KC workplace is still running God’s generational marathon like those men (and women) from nearly 100 years ago? Then an idea came to us to...
Commemorate the centennial of this historical event by grabbing the relay race baton extended to us and gathering Christians to pray for God to impact our generation.
2020 was YEAR-2 of an annual build-up to 2023 as we pray each year for 10 consecutive days culminating on Labor Day (our nation's celebration of work).
The 10 days is inspired by the New Testament Christians who gathered in Jerusalem for 10 days as Jesus instructed them and saw a mighty move of God that impacted their city and beyond through their simple act of obedience.
Business and prayer aren’t usually mentioned in the same sentence. Yet, business is measured in dollars and cents, and on both are written “In God We Trust”.
So let's put our money where our mouth is and pour out our hearts to Him in PRAYER...Psalm 62:8 "Trust God in every situation; pour out your hearts to Him."
